Description: Today you will discover together with Simonetta or Paola - English-speaking guides – a typical Italian food market, where you will find Italian cheese, salami, “prosciutto”, vegetables and fruit.
Then back to our apartment for the meal, to eat typical Italian products, tasting and learning how to serve extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, bread, Italian cheeses (pecorino, parmigiano, mozzarella di bufala, ricotta, etc.), salami (Tuscan salami, finocchiona), Tuscan “prosciutto” and bread, focaccia and a typical Tuscan dessert (Cantucci and Vin Santo).

“We spent the most lovely day with Simonetta & Paola. We met Simonetta at 9 and were taken to the local food market. We were talked through the different ingredients for Tuscan cooking, we particularly enjoyed tasting 25 year old Balsamic vinegar. We then went to the flat where we met Paola and that’s where the work started! We learnt how to make the perfect pasta, and were given lots of tips in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. It was very enjoyable to sit down and chat to the sisters while enjoying the food we had prepared.
