“My husband and I stayed at Poggio S. Polo ....the views of the surrounding fields and hills are gorgeous and calming.
We would cook in the morning, preparing a large meal that we would consume at lunchtime with the family and other guests. It's wonderful being in this Italian kitchen, learning little secrets ...and also enlightening to see various tools that are used.
Although my husband had some doubts that this experience would be fun. he got right in and prepared food and ended up thoroughly enjoying the entire experience.
For this is what Toscana Mia offers, an experience. Yes, they teach you marvelous cooking but it's much more than that. You are in a real cosy Italian home, with the family, out in the country. You have a nice big lunch that you prepared and then spend a pleasant afternoon in some charming town near there, perhaps purchasing some wonderful ceramics or wait in line at the marvelous bakery.
....you will enjoy a wonderful dinner and conversation, again with the family, before you retire dreaming of the next day ....
