Living at TOSCANA MIA is a unique occasion to live with an Italian family in the Chianti region, in Tuscany, and to enjoy the beautiful Tuscan countryside with the advantage of modern facilities.
You can choose to join us for 2-, 3- or 4-day Cooking classes:

Breakfast with the family Hands-on cooking class. We prepare together 4 or 5 different recipes Lunch together. We eat the meal that we cooked by ourselves and taste the wine that goes best with it. Guided excursions in the Chianti area: visit to a typical winery with wine tasting and to a beautiful ancient town where artisans produce their traditional articles (ceramic, leather goods, kitchen stuff etc.). Dinner at home, talking about Italy and Italian culture and lifestyle. |

We can organize transfers from the airports of Florence, Siena or Pisa with an extra charge.
In case you wish to plan other tours during your free afternoon, it’s possible to organize them independently with some local private car with driver. Some options are: San Gimignano, Siena and shopping tours to the Prada Outlet, The Mall Outlet or to Barberino Outlet Village.
This program is available from April to the end of October.
“From start to finish, the cooking school exceeded my expectations. The living accommodations were in the heart of the Chianti region… Every morning, I would awake to amazing views of vineyards and olive trees and to the smell of something delicious from the oven. How could you beat that?!! Each day …the cooking sessions were filled with wonderful stories, interesting food facts, lots of laughs, and because my fellow classmate and I were picture crazy, tons of pictures! Paola and Simonetta's instruction was casual yet so helpful and, in the end, they guided us to making some of the most delicious Italian food I've ever had. ..they also had a local shepherd and cheese-maker deliver fresh pecorino cheese. I'm not kidding when I say that this was the most fresh and amazing cheese I've tasted in my life! What really capped the experience for me were the family meals -- the meals were lively, filled with great conversation about anything and everything and, of course, there was ample flow of Chianti Classico.” From TripAdvisor.
