ITALIAN COOKING PROGRAM

The hands-on course covers traditional, home-style Tuscan and Italian recipes to enjoy the wonderfully intense flavor and freshness of traditional Italian dishes cooked in an evocative stone farmhouse in the hills of Chianti, in Tuscany, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The cooking classes are held in a friendly atmosphere and you have the chance to make new friends and learn a few secrets from Simonetta and Paola. Participants cook and eat dishes prepared using fresh, organic and natural ingredients. A complete meal such as appetizers, a pasta dish, a vegetable or meat dish and then a dessert is prepared every day and is accompanied by the wine which best complements it.

An example of our most popular menus:
  • Antipasto (Starter): Bruschetta or Crostini with Herbs
  • First Course: Fresh hand-made pasta or Potato gnocchi or Dry pasta with red or White sauces or Ribollita (typical Tuscan vegetable soup)
  • Second Course: Roasted meat (Arista alla Fiorentina), Turkey breast with Balsamic Vinegar or Stuffed vegetables or savory Cakes with Zucchini
  • Dessert: Tiramisù or Panna Cotta or Gelato
  • Many more menus are available and we always ask our clients if they have special requests and if there is any food allergy. We can create vegetarian and gluten free menus.
  • Starting Time: 9:30 am or 4:00 pm
  • Duration: approx. 4 and a half hour (including meal)
  • Number of Participants: minimum 1 person, max. 8/10
  • (Upon request we can organize classes for larger groups)

We offer 1- to 5- day cooking programs

Lessons are held all year round upon request.

I and a friend took a four hour class with 2 others in October, 2009 at the home of Simonetta, Paola, and their father. It was a beautiful day with the most wonderful view from the window of their authentic Tuscan kitchen. We learned how to make several courses of a traditional Italian/Tuscan meal and when we finished we had wine and enjoyed our efforts. These people are wonderful and the sisters really know what they are doing.” From TripAdvisor
